“I don’t give a sip” sets the tone for the North Coast coffee shop, designed by Cairo-based designer Rami Soussou. This playful phrase, displayed on the wall, injects a sense of humor and personality into a space that radiates warmth and relaxation.

Located along Egypt’s scenic coastline, the coffee shop combines natural colors and materials with a relaxed, open layout. The exterior is defined by soft, earthy tones and framed by lush greenery, creating a seamless transition between the interior and the surrounding environment. The understated “sip” logo on the facade hints at the shop’s laid-back yet refined approach.

Inside, Soussou emphasizes organic materials and clean lines, with light wood featured heavily in the seating and decor. The furniture, crafted by ‘Emar“, includes wooden chairs, cushioned in light hues, bring comfort and an inviting feel to the space, while the walls are adorned with square-patterned tiles that add a subtle texture. The bar counter is a striking focal point, constructed from layered blocks that introduce a handcrafted, artisanal touch. Every element, from seating arrangements to wall patterns, is chosen thoughtfully, resulting in a cohesive, welcoming atmosphere that encourages relaxation.

Natural light floods the interior through large glass windows, enhancing the bright and airy mood. The palette of beige, tan, and soft gray tones feels fresh and coastal, complemented by greenery that introduces a burst of color.

Unique pendant lights, with their sculptural forms, bring an artistic contrast to the clean-lined decor. Together with the witty wall sign, these elements give the coffee shop a distinct character, making it a space where style meets tranquility.
