It all started here with “KULTURE SHOCK,” the coffee shop that took Egypt by storm and laid the foundation for the thriving “Koffee Kulture” brand. This first branch, located in Arkan Plaza, Sheikh Zayed, Cairo, was designed by Egypt-based designer Rami Sousou.

The space strikes a balance between natural warmth and modern design, featuring soft green tones transitioning into beige, with wood accents and terrazzo flooring adding texture and character. Glass-topped tables and wooden chairs enhance the welcoming environment, making it the perfect spot for coffee enthusiasts.

The ceiling adds a unique element to the design, painted in a deep green and featuring exposed ductwork that gives the space a subtle industrial vibe. This is contrasted by the light, neutral-toned walls and sleek furniture, creating a dynamic and visually captivating atmosphere. Soft, focused lighting, a combination of modern pendants and linear fixtures, adds both functionality and style to the overall ambiance.

Decorative touches, like the large backlit coffee pot installation, serve as key focal points within the space. An arched mirror by the entrance expands the area visually, reflecting the playful neon “KULTURE SHOCK” sign.

These design elements, combined with carefully placed plants, introduce a sense of natural comfort, making this first branch of “Koffee Kulture” not just a coffee shop but a destination where people come to relax, socialize, and experience something new.
