Starting as a small salon in Heliopolis in 1980, “Mohamed Al Sagheer” has grown into a leading beauty brand in Egypt, now with 27 salons. Mohamed Al Sagheer’s vision was to serve Egypt’s elite, which led to the brand’s expansion into luxurious spas, boutiques, and nail lounges offering the finest services. With over 30 years of industry legacy, Mohamed began his career in 1960, trained under the legendary Alexander de Paris, and became one of the region’s first ‘Haute Coiffeurs.’ His commitment to elevating Egypt’s beauty standards earned him global recognition as one of the “Top 50” hairstylists and a member of prestigious beauty associations. His legacy continues to shape Egypt’s beauty industry.

This Al Sagheer Salon, located at “5A by The Waterway” in Cairo and designed by Nurin Ojeil, creates a welcoming and refined environment through its thoughtful design. The exterior presents a contrast of textures with a gray facade and warm lighting illuminating the salon’s signage, creating a captivating presence from the outside.

Adding to this charm, the exterior features vintage portraits and photographs documenting Mohamed Al Sagheer’s journey, paying tribute to his legacy and the salon’s rich history. Inside, the palette centers on earthy tones and a balance of light and dark materials that evoke a sense of calm sophistication.

Upon entering, the reception area catches the eye with a deep teal, grid-patterned cabinetry that complements the polished granite counter, grounded by a stone base. Above, pendant lights in organic shapes add warmth and an artistic touch, softening the room’s structured elements and adding a sense of movement. The walls are adorned in warm, neutral tones, further enhancing the serene atmosphere.

In the styling area, arched mirrors in black frames provide a touch of elegance while contributing to the spacious feel. These mirrors, combined with the beige wall backdrop, create an inviting and comfortable area for clients.

Dark green chairs add a subtle pop of color, blending seamlessly with the natural palette. Small wooden side tables offer functional accents, adding to the salon’s earthy and organic aesthetic.
